Historical Reality of Hadith

• The Quran was written down during the Prophet's lifetime.
• Hadith were compiled approximately 200 years after the Prophet's death.
• First major compilation: Imam Bukhari (d. 870) — 238 years after the Prophet.
• Bukhari examined 600,000 narrations and found only 7,275 authentic (~1.2%).
• 98.8% were rejected as weak or fabricated.
